I’am PhD researcher at the Vrije Universiteit Brussel within the Department of Electronics and Informatics. My research specializes in using Applied Mathematics and deep learning for point cloud registration, with a focus on enhancing surgical navigation through augmented reality.

Previously, I earned a Master’s in Machinery Intelligence, co-accredited with the National Institute of Applied Sciences of Rouen, from the University of Rouen, and a Bachelor’s degree in Applied Mathematics & Computer Science from Mohammed V University in Rabat.

My interests extend broadly to Cryptography, Security, Trust, and Privacy.

Jul 25, 2024 My paper has been accepted to the 27th International Conference on Medical Image Computing and Computer Assisted Intervention (MICCAI), taking place in Marrakesh, Morocco, from October 6-10, 2024. This work will be presented at the ShapeMI Workshop, which focuses on the latest advancements in shape modeling for medical imaging. Sep 15, 2023 I secured the first prize at the MARSS23 hackathon, held from September 4th to 15th, 2023, at Balgrist University Hospital in Zurich. This event was part of the 3rd Medical Augmented Reality Summer School. Learn more about MARSS23 here.
